The Career Advantage Program (CAP) is offered through the Marshall Undergraduate Student Services Office, and provides sophomore, junior and senior-level undergraduates (majors only) the opportunity to be paired with Marshall alumni who assist them in developing the professional, interpersonal and networking skills critical to their career success. Mentors and their groups of three to four students connect and grow through professional development and social activities. More than 400 students and 130 mentors participate in CAP every year.

IMPORTANT NOTES: New CAP mentor applications for the 2013-2014 academic year will be accepted until Friday, July 19th. CAP will begin accepting student applications for the 2013-2014 academic year July 1, 2013. CAP will not accept any applications after Friday, August 30th at 12:00pm. Students, you are applying to be MENTEES, not MENTORS. CAP will not be accepting spring mentee applicants in 2014. The only exception will be students who participated in the Fall 2013 Marshall International Exchange Program. Students, if you were in CAP last year, you will need to reapply. No preferential admission will be given to students who have already participated. Please spend a sufficient amount of time on your application!
